Hi All
I'm in the final stages of writing version 1.5, making Instaviz even
more usable and intuitive. There will be significant changes to the
user interface, so I'd like ask for help in localizing Instaviz for
your languages.
Since there's a good chunk of work, I'm hoping to rely on a
combination of your help and a professional translation agency. I
really appreciate your help in the past, since you've actually used
the app and your enthusiasm made for a high quality translation. But I
also realize not everyone has the time or energy to spare to lend a
helping hand. However, contributing your own translation will make
Instaviz a better experience for yourself and your fellow native
language speakers.
So I've split the work up into 4 parts in each language.
----------
1. APP STORE DESCRIPTION (TRANSLATING)
500 words.
Languages needed: Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, French, German,
Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish.
2. APP INTERFACE (TRANSLATING)
150 short lines e.g. "Help" = "Hilfe"
50 medium lines e.g. "Bunutzen Sie zwei Finger um den Graph zu ziehen"
Languages needed: Chinese (Traditional + Simplified), Danish, Dutch,
Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian,
Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish.
Any other languages available on iPhone 3.0 gratefully accepted too.
3. APP STORE DESCRIPTION (VERIFYING)
Verifying the translations in #1. Should take up less time than doing
the actual translation.
4. APP INTERFACE (VERIFYING)
Verifying the translations in #2. Should take up less time than doing
the actual translation.
----------
I'm hoping to finalize all the English interface work by this weekend
and hope to start work on translations next week, so it would be good
if you could get back to me in 1 or 2 days about what you can commit to.
Simply reply e.g. "2. German, Italian" to the email, to say that you
can commit to translating for German and Italian.
Cheers, Glen Low
