Are you running Windows XP or later? Did you decompress the
Instavue.win.zip to get the Instavue.exe file? When you open the
Instavue.exe, what happens? Is a Instavue.mdmp file created in the
same directory as the Instavue.exe?
You should use iTunes to sync and/or backup your iPhone in order for
Instavue to read the graphs. You should be able to do the sync or
backup with iTunes even after Instavue has started up.

At the moment, graphs are emailed as PDF's and also as links to
Instaviz. Due to the nature of the embedding, the PDF can only be
viewed on a Mac or an iPhone -- technically speaking, it uses data
URL's and so cannot be run on a machine which uses Internet Explorer
for email display, which rules out Windows machines. When Apple
releases the new iPhone 3.0 system update, we will be able to improve
on that (details under non-disclosure agreement).

You can look at the archives here: http://lists.pixelglow.com/pipermail/instaviz-users/
To send a message to the list, simply send it to instaviz-users at pixelglow.com

Hope that helps.
