Yes it appears there is a problem running on Vista, and an  
intermittent one on XP (only when iTunes is backing up). Do you have  
any crash logs, any unusual events in the Event Log? Would you be  
willing to run a custom version so I can see where it is crashing, or  
can I RDP or VNC to your machine over the Internet to see what the  
problem is?
