First of all, sorry about that last, unnecessarily lengthy post about
adding some gestures. I snipped the top part of the digest, but
forgot to snip the bottom! :(

Without knowing a bit more about your needs, it's hard to recommend
anything. However, I'll take a wild guess and suggest some products
you may want to check out:
http://dia-installer.de/index_en.html (and the non-Windows versions of
Dia, all of which can export to .dot format, though I haven't tried
this myself)
http://www.gliffy.com/ (lives in the cloud, limited free version)
http://www.mindmeister.com/ (also SaaS, specific to mind mapping; not
free, but decent academic pricing)
Please share the rest of your findings with the group if you find a
