This should be:
8. Now repeat steps 2 to 5
(thus export that same graph again, possibly after some changes)

Subject: [instaviz-users] Error: Protocol
FYI
If you try to 'Export' a graph via WebDav,
you might sometimes get the error
'Protocol error'
===
One of the possible causes:
the file can not be saved because the file is still open in some other application (e.g. Acrobat Reader).
Closing that application should resolve the issue.
===
Steps to reproduce
1. Create any graph in instaViz
2. 'Export' that graph
3. Choose tab 'WebDav'
4. Fill in the host IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.102) and your earlier setup virtual directory name (e.g. myWebDav01)
5. Click 'Export'
6. Click 'Done' (that should work OK as usual)
7. Open that file in e.g. Acrobat Reader (but do not close that application and keep the file open)
8. Now repeat steps 1 to 5
9. You will see the error 'Protocol error'
(which has thus nothing to do with the network protocol or similar,
e.g. restarting your iPhone, your computer, your wireless router does thus not help)
10. Note:
This error
'Protocol error' should maybe possibly be changed to a more informative error message
'Protocol error or file save access error'
or similar.
with friendly greetings,
Knud van Eeden
