That's unusual. Did you encrypt your backups in iTunes? -- Instavue  
doesn't handle encrypted iTunes backups.

Take a look at the different folders under your user's Library/ 
Application Support/MobileSync folder. Pick a folder, open it in  
Finder and send me a screenshot privately (glen dot low at pixelglow  
dot com). Would it be possible for me to use Remote Desktop e.g. via  
iChat to look at your computer?

Yes, that is broken. I'm currently working on a fix, see http://trac.pixelglow.com/instaviz/ticket/88 
. Hopefully I will submit the fixed version for App Store approval  
today.
