Thanks, that was very helpful since I didn't know of the 60 day trial,  
I will definitely use it then.

As an aside, I did the mathematical modeling used in the shape  
recognition with a 30 day trial of Mathematica... hence my hesitation  
to revisit the diamond vs. rectangle discussion, despite my agreeing  
with Daniel, Mike and Rick back in November. I will be buying a  
functional version of Mathematica at some stage of course.

Yup. I have an Intel iMac running VMWare off a Boot Camp partition and  
do some of my bread-and-butter development work on it already.
