[instaviz-users] Advertising -- is it worthwhile?

Try getting the various web sites that cover iphone applications to write articles about you.  All those sites that advertise applications.  You could also advertise on them if you have the cash flow.  
For the iphone I would limit myself on using the web.

Been thinking through several strategies for getting Instaviz "out  
there".

As a buyer or potential buyer of Instaviz and other iPhone apps, what  
led you to buy it? Do you consult other websites, Google, newsgroups  
etc. before making your decision, or was it solely or mostly based  
within the App Store system?

As a fellow developer of iPhone apps, what strategies have you used to  
promote your product?
