I am sorry Glen. I am a native Dutch speaker and no Dutch  would use  
"knoop" for node. And "edge" is not translated as "tak" (which means  
branch). I have translated your text into current Dutch, that will  
make sense to all Dutch speaking people. Of course you are free to use  
any translation you want, even if it contains language that is archaic  
and ridiculous (and maybe even incomprehensible) to modern day Dutch.  
But I advise strongly against that.
